At times, when you realize that you are all alone; everyone has moved on but there you are clutching on to that piece of life, you hope that everything comes back to you as it was, you start weeping for the time which has gone by. Sobbing for every fleeting moment, you look around trying to find someone you can hold on to, believe or even trust. But sadly you see no one.
May be it is just you who has paused, who has stopped. Why? You wished that life had not moved so fast; that you had a remote that could play back all the happy moments (a la click!). You would like to enjoy the bliss of life one more time while getting rid of all those stresses, meanwhile enjoying those long-lost moments of life.
But all you have are memories; some beautiful while others a bit depressing. Sometimes if you are lucky, you might have a photograph or two of all that has passed. Again sometimes upon introspection you will regret every moment in which you might have hurt someone.
But then you gather yourself up, walk a little, cross the road and engulf yourself into the welcoming arms of life; wide open and beckoning you into a new world. You see a ray of light, an enlightened hope and as you begin to walk ahead, you turn your head around just to have one last look of everything that was yours. You smile, capture that final feeling in your heart and move on.
